Bristol Myers Squibb recently achieved significant regulatory and clinical milestones, including an important U.S. regulatory approval for Reblozyl in first-line, MDS-associated anemia. In addition, the company achieved strong results from a Phase 3 study evaluating subcutaneous nivolumab and received two key approvals—from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Commission for Opdivo in stage IIB or IIC melanoma. In October 2023, the company announced it had entered into a definitive merger agreement to acquire Mirati Therapeutics, Inc. ("Mirati"), a commercial-stage targeted oncology company.
