(Nasqad: AKYA)(“Akoya), The Spatial Biology Company®, today announced a momentous achievement - publication of the 1,000th peer-reviewed article citing use of the company’s technology, the largest publication volume in the industry. Approximately 80% of these articles have been published in the last 2.5 years, reflecting the exponential growth in adoption of Akoya's solutions.

While the majority of publications have focused on oncology, other areas of research include inflammatory disease, neuroscience, and infectious diseases. Of note, several seminal papers were recently published in Nature led by the Human BioMolecular Atlas Program (HuBMAP), a National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded consortium, and the Human Breast Cell Atlas Initiative supported by numerous leading institutions and consortia. These papers presented atlases of the human intestine, breast, and other organs created with the use of several advanced technologies, including Akoya’s PhenoCycler® platform.
